In the night especially I can hear a constant loud sound of water running through the mains that goes through up through the house. It’s so loud. After flushing the toilet for example you can hear the loud sound of water going through the pipe.
Is there any way of getting rid of this sound?
Never really have come across this before
Thank you

Investigating why water is running at night when you haven't got anything switched on would be the first port of call. One you've got that fixed, a pressure reducing valve on the main might be helpful.

What size is the pipe? Is it 15mm?

As suggested, I presume this only happens when you use something like the toilet, or is it constant even when nothing's used?

If after flushing the toilet, I’d say it’s a failing float valve.
