Hello Newbie here,
I am fitting a new electric shower in our bathroom and it specifies a min mains pressure of 1.5bar.

The combi boiler we have normally reads 1.5bar but can get up to 1.9bar with the filler tap opened.

Does this mean that mains pressure is around 1.9bar or that the internal pressure of the central heating is at 1.9bar??

much thanks

use a water pressure gauge on either a garden tap or washing machine
outlet

test for static thats no other tap etc running
test for dynamic thats run a tap or flush the toilet.
do it at peak time of day and if your readings don't drop below the min required your ok.
if that drop lower than required your shower will not heat the water if say you use at 5pm or someone else runs a tap.
