Hi All,

Where the mains water enters my house, in the void under the floor, it has split and is leaking water.

I can see where the split is, its under the earth at the bottom of the void.

Is this something that i can repair myself or should i get an expert in?

Currently the pipe is a black plastic type. Should i replace the whole pipe with new? or repair the spilt?

Thanks!

Water is currently switched off in the street

Replace as much as you can reach with blue MDPE.

Take a sample down to the local plumbers or builders merchant to get the right fittings, and don't forget the inserts.
