Would appreciate opinions on the following....
We got someone to block up an unused fireplace (see photo) - I did make them put in an airbrick to the outside wall by the way.
There is now a large gap in the middle of lining paper. Initially I attempted to patch in some lining paper - but took it off because you could still see where the gap was filled despite there being two layers of lining paper.
I am thinking now of using either Dalapro Roll Nova or Toupret Renovation Skimcoat to get it smoother before I try and patch in another peice of lining paper...
But I am wondering what other people would do or suggest?
