Hi

I've recently made a couple of log stores for storing wood for our stove.

I want a tarpaulin to cover the front of each store, about 1mx1m each.
I've been researching made to measure tarpaulins and they are heanously expensive - damned if I'm spending more on tarps than the wood stores cost to make!!

Anybody got any ideas as to how to resize a shop bought poly tarp? Or an alternative material to make one from scratch?

I've got an eyelet kit so that part won't be an issue, its the cutting of the tarp that I', stumped with: will it not fray? Do I need to put rope in the new hems? Do I stick or stitch?

Any thoughts appreciated!

Thanks

DG

Usually plastic material so heat seal will stop fray or cut oversize and fold in edges a couple of times and use eyelets to hold in place.
