can any 1 tell me if it is still possible to get hold of a manual 3 port valve ..?????????
any help would be appreciated

I have, but I'm damned if I can remember the name.

im not sure . it is a 3 port valve but instead of electrically it has a spindle so it can be swithched to either c/h or h/w of both manually
 
Rega Diverta valve 460745, I think plumbcenter have them or can get them.
 
i want 1 because im sick and tired of replacing valves at home
If the system is installed properly, and maintained as per M.I., a MV will last on average somewhere between 10 and 20 years.

If they keep going wrong, your system is wrong.
If you keep replacing them yourself and they keep falling out, chances are you don't quite have the skills required.

That also means that there is a good chance you are wasting a couple of hundred quid a year on gas; cheaper and less hassle to get a pro in.
