Hello and thank you for reading this message.

The message is about a door entry system, in this case opening a gate. There should be a photo of the panel attached to this message. I have been told that the panel works by connecting to the landline telephone of each property (numbered 1 to 7 on the bottom half of the panel). But there is no manufacturer name on the panel and no manual explaining how to programme new telephone numbers into the panel. Can anyone help with a manual please? Thank you.

It's more likely that the lower buttons call each property, and the keypad is used for coded entry.

Panel to landline systems aren't that common in this country because of the difficulties in getting BT approval and the fact that, until recently, even local calls were charged per call.

I can't see the panel or anything like it listed at the panel finder here
http://www.intercomsrus.com/intercom_handset_finder_tool.htm
so if you can get access to the properties and see what handsets they use you may be able to get a match.

It's also quite common for panels to be made bespoke to an installation and fitted with another manufacturer's internal parts.

Thank you OwainDIYer. Yes the bottom buttons call each property, and the top buttons are coded entry. The system, though, as you have described calls each properties' landline telephone when the respective bottom button is pressed. The handsets can be different, as long as there is a landline. The problem at present is that there is no information about how to program into the panel a property's new telephone number. Thanks again for your reply and link.
