What was wrong with it, Catlad? I have a T50, but TBH it only gets used sporadically, so I couldn't say whether it was good or bad - other than it's all metal and I'm less likely to kill it if I drop it (I think)
I used a few cheap staplers first but they didn't last very long, then I bought this from screwfix https://www.screwfix.com/c/tools/st...cm_sp=managedredirect-_-handtools-_-staplegun
and that was a lot better and has lasted about five years so far, it still works but it gets jammed quite regularly now after being left on the roof to many times.
So I decided to buy a new stapler and I thought I would get the best one the builders merchants sold which was an arrow T50 all metal one that cost about £45 it looks solid, almost indestructible, which it probably is! but it feels unwieldy and hard to press when stapling overhead.
