Hi I need to seal and protect newly sanded reclaimed maple flooring. What you you recommend as a finish?

There is a huge range to choose from.
I personally always use Bona Lacquers, but even then they have too much choice. It does depend of the result you would like, Maple is fairly light to start with, if you use Junkers HP (being higher in solvent) it will darken the wood more than Bona Traffic or Mega. Bona Naturale will give almost no colour at all.
Then most product come in different sheen levels from High Gloss to Ultra Matt.
Most of my floors are either Mega Silk Matt or Traffic Matt which slims the choice down a bit.

WoodYouLike will be along shortly to extol the virtues of Hardwax Oil aswell.

That's right ;) But in the end it is down to personal preferences.

HWO brings out the character of the wood much better, keeps it protected while it allows the wood to breath. INMO it will look much better on reclaimed floors.
