My (sprightly 91 year-old) father's doorstep is concrete, and is worn and crumbling.
He has found arather nice piece of marble in his garden (2" thick and large enough for the doorstep) and is proposing to get a guy to set it on the step.
It will look good, but I am concerned it will be slippery, especially when wet.
Is my concern justified?
