Mast head amp (aerial booster?)

Common for sat dish inputs, but I have never come across that on the terrestrial antenna socket, though I did wonder if that might be a possibility. To work and allow other sets on the other outputs to get a signal, it would need to be able to be set to always on, even when that TV was off.
LG sets have this. It can be a bit of a pain too. They have a habit of updating the software and re-enabling the power output from the RF socket.

Yes it was an LG set, I had problems with mast head amplifier, never put my finger on the problem, as intermittent, it did not seem to matter what you did, the problem went when it had power removed and reinstated, so powering from TV so each time switched off power removed worked.

Is that ALL LG sets? I have just had a quick look through the settings and cannot see such a setting.
I've no idea if all LG sets have it. I've just come across it more on LG than any other brand. Search for 5V antenna power
