Maximum shower head diameter over bath

Do you have the water pressure otherwise it will be more of a dribble of water rather than a good shower.
I have tested the water pressure previously with a gauge.
Should the water pressure be greater as the diameter increases i.e. as the number of outlet holes on the shower head increases?

I`ve seen a few examples where the pressure & flow rate make for a poor shower. Lets see what others say.
