Mayors to have power to overturn local planning decisions

The London Mayors has these powers which would be extended to other elected Mayors. It would apply to larger schemes such as over 150 dwellings and could override a grant of permission as well as allow one the Council want to refuse. Pretty sure the government has powers to “call in” large schemes anyway, so this is an example of devolved government.

The midget wants to build shoeboxes on the green belt.
Councils have lost power to say no.
There's alarming overcrowding in certain areas already and the amount of rubbish produced has taken over front gardens as it is collected once a fortnight.
Soon London will be a concrete jungle full of rats.
People will drive 40+ year old cars to avoid the ulez and air and heat will be worse than ever.
I have started seeing a few old bangers running around.
My neighbour bought a Fiat Uno and is refurbishing it.
The plan is backfiring.
