Maytag 9604 will not spin, drain or agitate

Washer (10 years old) stopped mid cycle. There is no noise or burning smell. The on light goes on if you manually turn the knob through a cycle and the washer will fill to the appropriate height but no sound from any motors or pumps. This is the first problem encountered with this machine.

Any ideas would be welcomed. Thanks in advance.
