Hi guys

Im planning to hook up a new outside garden tap at the other end of the garden, I presume 500mm below ground should be fine but i am not sure on what pipe to choose.

Should I use copper or mdpe? its not a very long run, only 10-15 meters.

Also if I use copper should i insulate it or not worry.

I plan just to tee off the existing garden house so if you suggest mdpe I will just run a small length of copper as the existing is copper then join this onto the mdpe.

cheers

I should of actually said i would prefer to use copper as im comfortable working with it and also never used mdpe before but of course your comments will be crucial on my decision

I also just read that minimum depth for water is 750mm so that it shall be

thank you
