Got a quote and I'm not sure what that phrase means - is it the same as boxing in pipework?

Also, 'double tack joists' - two layers of plasterboard, right?

I'm what you might call an 'experienced newbie'.
 
But then they'll know for definite I'm a newbie they can blind with jargon! You know, better to say nothing and have people think I'm an idiot than open my mouth and confirm it. :D
 
carcass out - fit ( and test) pipes that will be covered /hidden so that the "second fix" of fitting appliances etc can be connected to the stubs/ends of the carcass pipes :wink:
