Hi

I have had 3 prices for a new heating and hot water system.

Two of the heating engineers have quoted for a 300ltr Range Tribune, one for a 300ltr Megaflo.

Can anyone offer advice on the benefits or otherwise of either brand as there is a cost differential?

Thanks

After years of new house bashing as they call it on here the Megaflow is dearer but i always found the Pre Plumbed Tribune the better of the two if that is any help.

Sorry I'm the opposite. Would have the megaflo. Rolls Royce of unvented cylinders, but each to his own

Have seen numerous posts re the failure of the Megaflo plastic air baffle breaking up leading to blockages, don't know if the Tribune is a similar air bubbled UV but I do know that OSO make one that has no plastic baffle, also it has a removable dip tube which, if removed, will give a extra 10 to 20% cylinder volume if required, obviously, a expansion vessel will then be required.
