Membrane Proof

Hello,

After a recent re-roof I notice something trying to bust through the membrane into the loft space.
I have worked out that it some mortar from the chimneys brickwork relaying.

I think after not to long with weather changes and general roof movement the mortar junk is going pierce through leaving a hole.
What can be done before or after that happens ?

Get the roofers back to get it out.

In the past when a cracked slate was replaced, it was secured with a lead tag or some adhesive.

So with a brand new re-roof I did not want to see a lead tag.
Adhesive, how long does that hold.
Not a worry I needed.
