Wasn't he born at Easter?
Apparently august....think he got nailed at easter,
Nobody knows when was born, just guessed so they called it Christmas.
Same about when he got nailed because Easter was the name for the month of April. It used to be Pasha when they celebrated his resurrection but got fed up with that, because they didn't know exactly when, so called the celebration Easter.
So, Easter means any time in April.

Did they have December 25 then? When was the Gregorian calander that we use today introduced again? He certainly seems to have foresight that Pope.
December was a month in the Julian calendar too.
