Metal Dimmer earth question

I need to connect a new metal dimmer with an earth cable to the earth in the metal box. Do I need to connect a separate earth cable from the metal fascia to the same earth in the metal box? So have two earth wires going into the box?

Help would be appreciated!

Well you don't need to earths going into the box as such, but the earth that comes into the box should be screwed to the terminal on the of the box, as should a second short length of nicely sleved earthing to the dimmer switch front. A sort of diasy chain of earths as such.
