Hi every one.
New to this site
I need some information concerning a new meter.
Who is responsible for the up keep of a service head and is cable??
I have a service head fitted to my workshop, it comes in from first going to an other persons property, then mine.
both propertys were onced owned by the same person, but they stand alone, so they are two propertys.
There is a metal condurit coming from the other property, it carries two cables which go to my servise head inside my workshop.
I the wires in the service head are the old cloth bound type, it used to have a 60 amp fuse which has long gone.
I am trying to have a meter connected and I am being told all sorts.
Some are saying they will not use the 60 amp head, some are saying the cable might not be up to scratch, some are saying the cable and service head are my responsibility.
I am finding it hard to belive any one
