is it ok to use 25mm stripped armoured cable ie inner pvc coating left on so it is double insulated as meter tails or do i have to use single core doule insul tails, any advice appreciated.

if its inside the enclosure why has it got to be double insulated or could i oversleeve it ?

Tails enter a meter separately, so there will be an area where the tails are not double insulated.

It's debatable about calling the 'bedding', round the single insulated cores of SWA, insulation.

On some SWA cables, this bedding can be very crumbly.

My advice is buy the correct tails. That will save someone having to put it right later.
