Micro usb port on tablet

With a cheapo & cheerfull 'full' Win 8.1 tablet with micro USB can I use a portable CD player to input some simple windows programs

Just got a windows tablet. Can't say for certain but cannot see why not as it takes USB keys quite happily.

Hope this helps. (if I had an external CD drive I would test it for you.)

Easier to stick programs on usb stick.

If you already have a USB CD drive, buy one of these "on the go" USB "A" sockets to micro USB adapter and try it. I'm pretty sure it will work without the need for additional drivers.
