what are the advantages/disadvantages of using micro bore ,as i have just had the old backboiler replaced with a new condensing boiler but am still using the same 8mm pipe runs to the radiators.would it be feasible to replace this with 10mm and would i still be able to connect to the same manifolds or would these have to be replaced too?

im not having any problems its just that a plumber told me that 8mm is more prone to clogging up thus restricting waterflow and making the pump work harder thus reducing its lifespan.the plumber told me he prefers 10mm over 8 or 15mm pipe so i just thought should i change it to save problems later?

Anything can be changed for the right price! Take it the installer powerflushed your old pipework before commisioning the system? 8mm has been and is used successfully all over the country, in this case if it aint broke dont fix it!
