Hi I am using Microsoft Security Essentials 2.0. However since I've upgraded it does not do its scheduled scan. I set it for 1.00pm on a Sunday as I am usually out for most of the day.

However I came home to find it still saying when I ran my last scan. I started that scan myself btw.

I should also mention that I have it set to run scan when computer is not in use.

So any ideas? Thank you.

Uninstall it and install AVAST, do a full scan with that

Dont know anyone who uses that software but theres 2 leaders in the AV market, AVG which I have never used and AVAST

Sorry thats all I can advise

Suppose at worst I will just have to manually start it before I go out. Not too hard.

The reason I like to use MSE is because I'm using Windows which is made by Microsoft. It's integrates well with Windows. Never had this problem with 1.0.
