Can anyone tell me how to stop thia MA1 mid pos activator buzzing? Its driving me crazy. Cant slide switch at side or move thing at back. Only thing that moves is push in button on left hand side.

You would be better of in the central heating forum where they would deal with the valves more often.

Sound like you need a new actuator head. Very easy to replace. (There is a button on the side to remove the head.) when removed check the spindle on the valve body moves freely with your fingers. If it does order a new actuator head.
Alternatively, change the synchron motor. Much cheaper and it is the only thing that can buzz.
Definitely the Synchron motor. About 12 quid from plumb centre.
