Hi Guys

I have an ACL Drayton lifestyles mid position valve 679H340-30L0 its the old type without the snap off actuator.

It wont switch back to the Central Heating position after the Hot Water has selected or it has been turned off.

I changed the syn motor but that did not help help so its prob a blown micro switch.

I have cable tied the lever to keep it in the CH position only and now it operates CH and HW together or individually.

Does anyone see a problem with the lever being cable tied to CH only as it seems to work as it should now but not sure if it will cause further problems to the system?

I got a new valve ready to go on but will have to drain a lot of the system to fit it and mess about with pipes in a confined space.
Might be easier to leave it as it is now providing it wont cause further issues?

Something not quite right! If its secured in the CH only position, how can CH and HW work together or hw individually.
I understand the lever only takes the valve to mid position.
