Mid position Valve problem.

Think I have a MPS problem,.

Radiators came on for no good reason yesterday, full blast. I have CH on on thermostat controlled. Thermostat was set correctly and clicks when turned. Does not turn Ch off.

At the same time the hot water does not fire up the boiler. Again thermostat on hw tank clicks when turned.

Mpg head is 8 to 10 years old, valve itself is more like 20 years.

Sorry. Typing on phone is always rubbish. Should read mid position valve mpv . Not MPS or mpg
