Miele dishwasher stop starting then all lights start flashing

Hi, I removed the switch and cleaned gubbins out of it. I also slackened the plastic screws tensioning the springs. The seals are also potential for leakage. It didn't work!! Ordering an 80 quid switch now, here's hoping it works!
