I have a Miele W733 front loading washer . When closing the door after loading (which usually brings up the program mode.) the display shows"--" and the machine cannot be programmed. Manual says this means there is a technical problem and to call service. Last time I did this they scared me right off and I troubleshot and fixed the machine successfully myself. I have checked all of the field inputs I can find or think of and they all appear correct to me. There is one green and one Red LED on the main controller board. These are both on solid. Does anybody know if they should be on solid or should they flash in a particular sequence. Also does anyone know of any magic set of button pushes to enter a diagnostic mode to deermine the fault. I assume if the machine can deduce the fault, it can tell you what input is wrong???? Thanks in advance for any help.
