Mini One Stereo

Hi All

My misses has a 02 Mini One with a mini-disc player in it, which we never use. I want to replace it with a CD/USB Host player. Does anyone know if this is a reasonably easy job, as in do regular sized shelf bought car steroes fit properly?

Its fairly easy to change the stereo you will need a fitting plate, a plug and aerial adaptor, what you need to do is undo the 4 torx screws on the 2 silver bars at the side of radio then there are 4 other screws 2 under the electric mirror switch and 2 under the cup holder. pull all the trims towards you being careful not to scratch the silver trims they scratch quite easily,once that is out there 4 more screws holding radio in. you can get the parts from any good car audio shop or i can always post you some out as i also have a car audio shop.
