Our water is very hard and even with a softner, the valve on our Mira722’s gravity shower regularly seizes and has to be removed, dismantled, de-scaled, cleaned and re-installed, with a new set of seals. However this time I cannot dismantle it, the “inner barrel” will not unscrew even when held as tightly as I dare squeeze it in the wood-faced jaws of a vice. Any suggestions on how to free it?
