Hi All,
Our thermostatic shower valve on/off lever has started to get really tight to operate. Getting concerned that I will shear the lever handle off if it gets much tighter to turn. I have had the front off and removed a couple of circlips from the center shaft but nothing else seems to come apart as I would like to try and de-scale in inners.
I have read on here that there could be some kind of cartridge to clean/replace, please could anyone advise as to how to get at it or post a breakdown drawing.

Regards Neil

Probably best to get a drawing from the manufacturer. Hudson Reed stuff often comes with a long warranty as well, it might be worth seeing if they'll attend and fix it themselves.

Hudson Reed are great for customer service. Dont have the number to hand but i think they re based near Burnley if that helps.
