Please can you advise on how to remove the internal set of a built in Mira 8 shower from the main body.
The shower has not been used for a considerable period. The right hand
piston seems to be stuck, the left piston and the yoke move. Soaked in
WD40, and have given gentle persuasion. I have the shower instructions and
have refitted the the flow control knob and circlip, but cannot get the set
to come out. The unit was built in with tiles almost in front of the
unions.
Any tips please? :?:

I had that problem, was unable to move it, put the bits together to chuck in the bin... but when I turned the knob, the inside levered itself out. Sorry, can't remember how I assembled it, but I think it was just finger tight.

Once apart, I descaled it, cleaned up the moving parts with wire wool and metal polish. You can get a service kit of "O" rings and clips for an exhorbitant price.
