I have installed a mira power shower no elec as yet. The cold water is at mains pressure, the hot is from a header tank. I cannot turn the isolator from the basin on from the cold supply as the water just comes gushing out of the seal areas. i Have sealed what i thought was the most obvious leak and now the water comes from elsewhere. Is the cold water pressure too high if so what can i do about it?

you cant put mains pressure through a power shower 
feed it from the head tank
if you have had it at mains pressure you may well have shot the seals
if you have had it at mains pressure you may well have shot the seals
