Is there a DIY method for easily removing mirrored glass from a sliding wardrobe door - glass has cracked and from what I can see appears to be held on by a form of "double sided" tape underneath.

As you say there're either on double sided foam tape or fitted inside frame work which then have to be taken apart.It won't be easy if is on double sided foam tape,a long sharp knife should do it but wear a goggle as you get fine bit of flying glass.
