Water was spurting out between the copper pipe output and the plastic showerhose input thingy which i've unscrewed from the wall here

Inside the plastic showerhose there are these items that dropped out. the 2-part plastic washer thing with cogs has snapped.

Can anyone tell me what the washer things are called so I can do the necessary Googling to find a replacement. Is it a be-atch to re-fit, do I slide it all into the housing and then just press it over the copper pipe?

Thanks in advance. 8)

They mostly aren't like that .Usually a screw thread...

I'd try to find the make, but there are so many, which exist for such a short time, it can be impossiible.
What's inside the back of that elbow thing? Maybe you could pinch a part from a pushfit plumbing connector.

Before you refix the shower outlet, put a bit of silione sealant between the pipe and wall tiles. This stop water getting behind tiles.

Is it the middle black 'O' ring that makes the seal around the copper?
No solder, no compression olive, no gripper ring. Looks a bit Heath Robinson to me.

It looks very similar to the outlet for a Gainsborough mixer I recently removed. That had a grab ring in a flange that fitted over the pipe behind the outlet elbow, and was held by the same fixing screws.

IIRC the 'broken' links between the outer and inner rings only held the components together prior to assembly.
Once assembled, tightening the fixing screws was suposed to either stretch or shear the small links between the inner and outer rings as the boss in the middle of the grab ring housing compressed the inner ring tight against the 'O' ring.
