Mixer tap problems!

hey all i've just installed a mixer tap from wickes and it has been working fine for the last 3 months... but now it's started to become loose =[

does anyone have some ideas on how i can stop this from happening again when i strip my cupboard out to tighten it up again?!?

I would put a spring washer under the retaining nut mate.
