Hoping for a point in the right direction please guys. I’ve just fitted a new bath mixer with individual quarter turn taps for hot and cold.

The problem is when turned off water continues to flow fast for about five seconds, slows to a fast drip for about ten seconds then finally about twenty seconds stops completely.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Might well just be the water in the spout draining out as air bubbles in to replace it.

How's the water pressure in your house? If it's a low pressure tap (up to 1 bar, intended for gravity hot and cold) and you're running at 3 bar plus from a Megaflo or similar then there's your problem
