Mixer taps suitable for combi boiler?

I am about to replace my kitchen sink and taps. The current tap is a single-lever mixer, and I have a combination boiler.

I am wondering whether I would be better to go for a dual control mixer (ie one which allows the flow from the hot and cold taps to be adjusted independently), as if for example I attempt to run the tap with a 50:50 mixture of hot and cold, the flow rate of the hot water is not sufficient to keep the boiler running, and so the stream goes cold.

Alternatively I see that it is possible to buy taps suitable for low water pressure - would this help sort the problem?

Does anyone have any comments or suggestions?

You could fit a mixer tap that only mixes the water in the sink and not in the tap. This would eliminate any back pressure that could shut down the combi.
