My kitchen mixer taps only produce a trickle in the hot water position. The cold water is fine. I have taken apart and there is a plastic cartridge inside which all appears to be in good condition.all washers etc fine.I am wondering if there could be a blockage in the outlet on the hot side or is it likely this cartridge is faulty ?

Check to see if you have flow to the mixer with cartridge removed.
Is the mixer tap fitted with flexi's ? check they are not twisted or the hot one hasn't collapsed internal.

Could also be the gauze filter blocked in the base of the mixer.
If you have low flow with cartridge removed i suspect a blockage in pipework below sink.
ie filter, iso valve.
