Hi all,
I bought a can of Rustins Quick Dry Floor paint, which is an acrylic emulsion paint. This is mean go onto some wooden floor boards in my cellar, so no perfect finish required.

I find the shade a smidge too dark, and was looking if I can brighten it up slightly by adding some leftover white paint. I've got dulux quickdrysatonwood (emulsion), Zinsser 1-2-3 bullseye (shellac/resin?) and Sandtex Masonry. The masonry is breathable, so probably not adequate. Can I use any of the other, w/out weakening too much the integreity of the acryilic paint? Or absolute no go? Finish must not be perfect, but if for some reason they don't bind at all then I will just go ahead w/out.

Buy white pigment off internet and a wooden spoon in a drill to mix.

Mixing different paints can cause big problems as they are made with deferent resins
