mk4 fiesta wishbone

Ye I had a look at one about a month ago on a fiesta. It had a realy bad clunk on the front end. When I looked at the wishbone the lad had not pushed the ball joint up far enough so it was just nipped up at the very end if the ball joint ! He was lucky it didn't pop out

this is well pushed up and the bolt goes through where the recess is

its if its too far in the bolt wont go in. because its got a delve on the ball joint end.
get the car up on jack stands and have a prod n pull about... check driveshafts ... anti rollbar ... droplinks ... check rear also... might be a completely different problem.
