I hate to say rejoin the EU. However that is not possible so only way is to scrap the ECHR and go from there. I was a big believer in Rwanda and still am.

Well it’s more complicated than that simplistic view. I feel we have to do something to ease the immigration problem and starting with the small boats seems a good step forward.

Small boat arrivals represent about 5% of total immigration into the UK.

Between 2018 and 2025, excluding withdrawals and administrative decisions, around 62% of all initial decisions on asylum applications from people who arrived by small boat were grants of protection.

Even if you argue that the entire other 38% "shouldn't be here", that means that the number of small boat arrivals that applies to is 1.9% of the total immigration number.

That's the magnitude of the "problem" which so exercises you, the size of the "invasion".

It looks like he may have broken a rule or two. The establishment clearly want to end him.

My prediction is... he'll get an 11-day suspension from parliament, triggering a by-election. He'll run again, and will get a landslide victory, at least as big a win as last time. Everyone who asks the public confirms that they just don't care about this stuff, beyond the frothing lefties who'd never vote for him anyway.

Then the establishment will cook up their next plan.

They can't out-compete his popularity, so just want to take him out.

It’s started a little earlier than expected but the centre ground political parties are seizing the momentum and going for Nige. There will inevitably be a recall election at Crapton, and he will probably win it. however Nige’s biggest weakness is his thin skin and he may decide to quit first. Re form are then dead as a political party and Re store will take over but with a much smaller ineffective mandate. I predict Bobby J will wield the knife.
