Hello,
House is about 16 years old and there were a few little bits that we had repointed when we purchased the property as some little holes etc (side elevation seems to be hit more by weather).
Anyways, we have owned the property about 6 months and had a level 3 survey with nothing sinister picked up but noticed that the engineering brick has a slight crack on it and some mortar cracks around.
With it being down near dpc, was worried in case indicitive of something serious or could it be because of the damaged brick (the man who repointed said it was probably always like that) and also it appears one bit lto the right that there is a difference in mortar so cracking occured between the two?
Enclosed a closer photo and a little back. It is the side elevation of house and quite a big wall as 3 story.
Would this be concerning/need a structural engineer to look at?
