Hi

I have recently purchased a house built in the early 70's.

There are some holes in the mortar on the external brickwork from previous fixings and cables being fixed to the walls.

3 bricks have also been replaced, but grey mortar has been used between the bricks instead of red to match the remainder of the brickwork.

I am looking to fill holes and have no idea about brick work or mixing mortar.

Most ready mixed mortar looks to be grey, is it possible to obtain ready mixed red mortar?

Would something like this cover it ?

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

For the holes you probably want 5 tea spoons and red building sand to 1 teaspoon of cement.

Same ratio for the other bits.
