Scrapping Paint Question

First painting project and need to clear, scrap the old paint from the window sills.

Would any type of scrapper be all right?

Its "scrape" with an "e" at the end - not "Scrap" - thats disposal. lol
Plain old 2" scrapers from most DIY stores will do this, along with lots of elbow grease.
 
The sharp scrapers you’ve linked to will remove the paint very effectively but the danger is that they will also remove chunks of wood.

Is that the best option or would you have other recommendation?

Like sanding with a sander? or chemicals if that is available?
