How far should an m16 stud be inserted into the wall to hold up a trimmer joist? Held in with resin. I'm thinking 190mm studs should do the trick, 50mm thickness for the joist that leaves 140mm in the wall. These = https://www.toolstation.com/shop/p4...MIka72wM_A2AIVJhbTCh22VQR6EAkYBSABEgIF9PD_BwE

I've got 6 M16 bolts holding my roof up. They are 60mm into the brick.

Thanks. Think I’ll buy some rods and cut them down to 110-120mm instead then it will be much cheaper. Think I was overthinking it as it’s not specified on the plans but it does specify they are m16
