I've got a Viessman Vitodens 100W system boiler and a 300l Albion unvented DHW cylinder. The heating is wet underfloor downstairs and radiators upstairs. The ground floor covering is engineered floorboards.

The user instructions for the boiler and cylinder are next to useless when it comes to explaining the best way to set things up to work together so I'm hoping I can get some advice here as to the best way to use them.

1. The cylinder is heated by the boiler, should the cylinder stop the boiler once it has heated all the water? (I don't have a DHW timer installed yet so I have to turn the boiler DHW dial from 0 to about 2 when I want to heat the cylinder)

2. Approx what temperature should I run the underfloor heating mixer for the ground floor and should I try and match this to the boiler heating output temp?

3. Does the temp setting on the boiler for the DHW dictate the temp of the water in cylinder or will the cylinder regulate the temperature based on it's own thermostat (not sure if that thermostat is just for the immersion backup heater)

Thanks.
