What is the regulation in BS 7671 to size the MCCB for a motor? Is it 1.5 times the motor full load amperes?
go to college, read lots of stuff to do with electrics, develop a strong knowledge of electrical theory, have a reasonable command of maths, gain plenty of practical experience, then ....Let me put it this way, what is the general practice to size the MCCB for the motors?
theres a clue in the name of the website - www.DIYnot.com, i don't generally think industrial applications should be carried out as a diy project, do you?Agreed, but please explain to me what this forum is all about
idle away slack periods inbetween questions and answers with architects and engineers, often helping people with easy-to-remedy problems and advising people who are clearly out of their depth to seek the services of a professional before they cause harm to person, property and livestock.and what is the goal of all you guys here?
Yes I am electrician, and I thought I could consult other electricians on this forum to seek advice. But apparently this is not what this forum is about.
It was even worse than that...Buddy, with the greatest of respect, having seen your questions such as "What's the point in measuring EFLI on a circuit protected by fuses/breakers?"
What is the purpose of measuring earth fault loop impedance? It makes sense to measure earth fault loop impedance if the protective device is earth leakage breaker or RCD; but why measure the earth fault loop impedance for regular circuit breakers or fuses?
What is the difference between a distribution circuit and final circuit?
Does anybody know a table which shows the reactance of cables larger than 25mm2?
If I have a circuit breaker with a frame size of 100A and a trip of 32A, then shall I have to use the Zs values for 100A or 32A?
Neither - you shall have to use an electrician.
That is what I want to know that what will the electrician do in this situation?
Yeah, right.Yes I am electrician.
